Generally stand-alone benchtop appliances, they are used to heat glassware and its contents, however if indirect is heat required vessels can be suspended above the heat source using tripods, retort stands and rods, for example.

Larger capacity hotplates and hotplate stirrers are constructed for optimal strength to withstand heavy loads. Giving you the performance you need for your large scale applications.
